History
Dr. Ed Travis started life in California, graduated from Valley Christian High School and San Jose State University. He was a Captain in the US Air Force ending at Bergstrom AFB in Austin. After Texas Chiropractic College graduation he opened his practice in Bastrop in 1984.
We treat our client list confidentially, so we can't tell you who we've treated, and you will receive the same confidential treatment. Dr. Travis has worked with the Wrangler Pro-Rodeo Circuit treating riders, bullfighters, and clowns. He's worked with athletes in the Pro-Beach Volleyball competition, bike racers in several events, and was selected to work the Tae-Kwon-Do National Finals in Houston. Additionally, Dr. Travis worked with the Bastrop High School Football teams for several years, pioneered "Neuro-Functional Chiropractic" in Bastrop as a certified TBM practitioner.
He also helped with the Boy Scouts at the district level for several years and enjoys golf and traveling. He has worked as a Texas high school football referee for the past 35 years.

Meet The Chiropractor
Dr. Travis has been in practice over 34 years with multiple trainings and qualifications over the years in many different treatment techniques and methods. He is also a "Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician," "Certified TBM Practitioner," "Certified Veterinary Chiropractitioner," and Certified as an "Applied Clinical Nutritionist." He has worked many pro-sports events, many rodeos on the Wrangler Sports Chiropractic team, was the team chiropractor for Bastrop Bears football for several years, and was selected to work the National Tae Kwon-Do finals in Houston in 1995. He received training in Russia and holds a reciprocal license to practice medicine there.
His wife, Pam Travis, has worked in the health care field for over 27 years with the last 24 at our office.

Pam was born and raised in Texas and graduated from Bastrop high school.
She has worked in the health care field over 30 years with the last 25+ at our office.
She helps manage the office, checks on your insurance, makes appointments, and keeps Dr. Travis busy.
Pam enjoys her kids and grandchildren and facebook "peeps."

Dr. Travis refers patients to whomever he thinks will provide the best specialist service and care for your particular problem or situation. Of course some patient's insurance dictates where they can go if insurance must be used.
We still have preferences within those parameters having worked with many different health care providers over the years.
